ASOS, who predominately aim their ranges at 16 to 34 year old women, saw their sales growth slump to just 1% in the second quarter of 2011; in comparison, in the three months before June of this year they saw a growth of 15% in sales. Robertson was quick to point out that it is not a complete disaster for the company that has grown and grown in recent years however he did admit that this financial year is likely to see either zero growth overall or, at the very most, a single digit rise. There is some good news on the horizon however as these figures are only attributed to their British market; ASOS currently has 7 different currently specific websites and overseas growth for the company has risen by a remarkable 141% already this year. Timberland will retain all of its highly identifiable trademarks, but VF Corporation will begin to mold and shape the company to meet its standards. If VF Corporation is successful in its endeavors, the company could recoup its entire investment and be in the black within a few short years.

They plan on creating an edgy, girly and eclectic line of clothes aimed at young girls aged 7 through 16. Because Ashlee is still associated with Fall Out Boy front man Pete Wentz, the design duo may be able to use the styles work by the band as inspiration. The line will debut by the end of 2011, and the Simpsons have already given the public a sneak peak of what it yet to come. Leggings, fur vests and novelty t-shirt make up the teen fashion line so far, but consumers can also expect to see shoes and other accessories in the near future.

All proceeds of a charity event that took place at the end of the week were donated to Japan. In total, more than 130 separate pieces were donated by various Korean designers and 1,000 participants bid or made offers on the fashions that were featured. Although other countries have donated money to the victims of the Japanese disasters, so far this is the first time that a group of fashion designer from Asia have held a charitable event.

Among the fashion designers that participated, Lie Sang-bong was the most vocal. Several major beauty company also donated products, and coupon website Groupon also teamed up with the Korean fashion designers. More than 60 designers lent a helping hand, and in the end the organizers of Seoul Fashion Week felt that both the show as well as the charitable events were a huge success.
