Reality TV show star Nicole Richie has found that Los Angeles, California is not nearly as enticing to her fashion tastes as what she has been finding overseas. The trend setting star has left the United States in search of hot fashion wherever she can find it, getting in some great experiences while she’s at it with a variety of countries being her choice visits. In what comes as a surprise to many, Richie recently shared with her close fans that she is intending to open a brand new fashion shop in Mid City Centre, a refurbished area of Sydney, Australia. Not only has Richie been reported as saying that she finds the cool, chic vibes of the Down Under nation intriguing, but that the labels Forever New, Sass & Bide, and Ksubi are now a regular part of her own closet collection. The beach tones and feel of the fabrics are what has drawn the star to the Aussie scene.
As the former best friend of celebrity socialite Paris Hilton, Richie has certainly carved out a name for herself in the fashion world, turning shopping into an art. Pitt Street Mall has become a heavenly place for her, she reports. As much as she loves LA, it is Sydney that has stolen her heart and the big launch party where she will be guest of honor is going to be one of her most anticipated events of the season. The recent UK Glamour magazine awards and launching her own House of Harlow 1960 and Winter Kate lines for 2010 and 2011 are another big part of her recent fashion fun.
