The actress who became a star in the CW Network TV series Gossip girl is now looking to have a whole new fashion style after giving her former stylist the boot. Taylor Momsen, both an actress and movel, has now revealed that she is more attuned to leather jackets and lacy tops than the couture gowns she used to be associated with. She is going for her own rockstar type look after getting out of the dresses phase and lining herself up more closely to the image that she portrays in her band Pretty Reckless. The star has revealed that being provocative is a part of her style and that at age 16, she does not shop that often, but when she does it is Chanel that she is attracted to most strongly. By mixing and matching the different parts of her wardrobe she is able to put tees with dresses and other unique combos. While her particular sense of fashion does not always warrant the applause of many who are not prone to her particular tastes, she has definitely managed to get herself mentioned in the press plenty of times.
As a fashion rebel, Momsen is definitely in good company, say experts, being able to share the spot light with other famous luminaries that in their youth were also known for breaking fashion’s many rules.
